Hi, I’m Lis the heart and lens behind Elisabeth Viilu Photography.

I’m a Vermont-based photographer drawn to real connection, honest emotion, and the kind of moments that feel like home. The laughter between breaths, the quiet squeeze of a hand, the joy that spills out when you’re fully present with the people you love that’s what I’m always chasing.

My approach is relaxed, intentional, and deeply personal. I believe the best photographs aren’t forced or overly posed they’re felt. Whether I’m capturing a mountaintop proposal, a cozy family session, or a once-in-a-lifetime wedding day, my goal is always the same: to tell your story in a way that feels true to you.

Living in Stowe, Vermont, I’m endlessly inspired by the changing seasons, open landscapes, and sense of adventure that surrounds us here. I love working with couples and families who value connection over perfection and who want images that feel timeless, emotional, and alive.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me outside as much as possible hiking, snowboarding, exploring with my family, or soaking up quiet moments in nature. Those same rhythms shape how I photograph: grounded, joyful, and full of heart.
