Senior Session in the Mountains with Thain 🌄✨

Some senior sessions just sparkle a little extra and Thain’s was one of them.

Thain lives just outside of Chicago, but when it came time to capture her senior photos, she knew she wanted a backdrop that felt big, adventurous, and full of possibility. The mountains were calling, and Vermont delivered. From golden fields to sweeping peaks, every location felt like it was made for her.

This girl is the whole package smart, driven, athletic, and an absolute joy to be around. She runs cross country and has her eyes set on the University of Boulder. With her adventurous spirit and unstoppable energy, I have no doubt she’ll thrive there.

But what stood out most during our time together wasn’t just her beauty or her ambition it was the way she radiates light. Thain is the kind of person who lights up a room (or in this case, a mountainside) simply by being herself. She’s easy to laugh with, grounded in who she is, and clearly ready for whatever the next chapter brings.

We explored the mountain trails, chased the warm glow of the setting sun, and laughed the entire way. The result? A gallery full of images that feel exactly like her adventurous, bright, and full of joy.
