A Magical Winter Proposal in Stowe, Vermont Tom & Cassie

Some moments feel like they were meant to happen in winter.

With fresh snow falling softly through the trees and candlelight glowing against stone, Tom planned a proposal that felt intimate, thoughtful, and full of heart. Tucked into the quiet woods of Stowe, Vermont, every detail came together in a way that felt both cinematic and deeply personal.

As Cassie walked into the space, surrounded by candles and winter florals, the world seemed to slow. The snow muffled everything, creating that peaceful stillness Vermont does so well. And then, with the red ring box in hand and a nervous smile, Tom dropped to one knee and asked the question that would change everything.

Cassie’s reaction was pure joy, laughter, surprise, emotion all at once. The kind of moment you can’t plan, only hope to be present for. The answer, of course, was an easy yes.

After the proposal, we wandered through the snowy landscape capturing those just-engaged moments quiet embraces, shared smiles, and the glow that only happens right after you realize you’re about to spend forever with your person. To celebrate, Tom and Cassie leaned fully into the Vermont winter magic with a horse-drawn sleigh ride through the snow. Cozy, playful, and full of laughter, it was the perfect way to soak in the moment and mark the beginning of this next chapter together.
