Some weddings are all about the party. Rebekah and Kevin's was all about the two of them, and I loved every minute of it.
They said their vows on August 29th at Stone Hill Inn in Stowe, on one of those perfect late-summer Vermont days: blue skies, big puffy clouds, and the gardens still in full bloom. It was small, relaxed, and full of real emotion from start to finish.
Kevin waited outside while Rebekah got ready. When she stepped through the door, he didn't even try to hold it together, and honestly, that's my favorite kind of first look. A few happy tears, a lot of laughing, and then the two of them walking out into the garden arm in arm.
And can we talk about that dress? Soft tulle with pastel wildflowers embroidered all the way down, paired with Kevin's light blue suit. They looked like they belonged in that garden.
We wandered the grounds for portraits with Mount Mansfield in the background. These two are so easy to photograph. They're genuinely each other's favorite person, and it shows. I also snuck in a few details: their rings tucked into a dahlia from Rebekah's bouquet.
Rebekah and Kevin, thank you for letting me be part of such a beautiful, heartfelt day. I'm so happy for you both!
