Spring Sunshine & Sweet Moments with the Jordick Family Burlington Waterfront Family Session

There's something so special about spring sessions—the sun feels warmer, the colors start popping, and families come alive outdoors after a long Vermont winter. My recent session with the Jordick family at the Burlington waterfront was full of that exact kind of magic.

With baby number three on the way, this photoshoot was all about capturing this precious moment in time—the joy, the anticipation, and the sweet connection this growing family shares. The two older kiddos kept me on my toes in the best way, running, giggling, and showing off their adventurous spirits as we explored the paths and rocks near the lake. Their playful energy, paired with Mom’s gorgeous pregnancy glow and Dad’s easygoing smile, made for the dreamiest images.

The lake was calm, the breeze was light, and the beautiful morning light wrapped everything in that perfect spring glow. We captured belly kisses, sibling snuggles, and those candid in-between moments that always end up being the most treasured.

It’s always an honor to document a family’s journey—and this session with the Jordicks was such a beautiful reminder of how sweet it is to freeze these fleeting chapters before life changes again in the most wonderful way.
